Question: Who is eligible for WA MASS services?

Answer: Noncitizens residing in Washington State who meet the criteria below are eligible for WA MASS:

Entered the US after January 1, 2022; and
-
Are not eligible for ORR benefits.
Question: What documents do I need to bring to my in-person or virtual screening?

Answer: Please bring documents that verify your nationality and date of entry into the US. The paperwork you were issued by immigration authorities when you arrived in the US (such as the NTA, I-94 and Release on Recognizance) can help verify your nationality and date of entry.
Question: What if I don't have immigration paperwork?

Answer: If you don’t have immigration paperwork, bring a government issued identification and discuss your situation with staff at the Hub. They may be able to assist you.
Question: What can I expect during my in-person or virtual appointment with the Hub?

Answer: Hub staff are known as navigators. Navigators will walk you through the following steps during your appointment. Note that the screening, intake and needs assessment process may take between 1 and 2 hours:
1) Review your paperwork to determine if you meet the eligibility criteria for WA MASS.
2) If you are eligible, a navigator will conduct an intake to enroll you in the Program.
3) Depending on your situation, a navigator may conduct a needs assessment following your intake or schedule it for a later time.
Question: What happens if I'm not eligible for WA-MASS services?
